Almost There!!!

Tomorrow I will be 37 weeks pregnant! I can't believe it.. Time has gone by so fast!
We have been working in the nursery on the weekends and it's coming along great. I am so excited for when it's finished! I'm almost done washing and preparing everything.. She can come at any time now! I need to pack my bag for the hospital and everything still.. I will have lots of more time after this next week.. I only work 4 MORE DAYS before I become an official STAY AT HOME MOM. I am soo excited! (and nervous) It's going to be great to be away from the stress of working in a retail environment, but being a mom is going to be the hardest job ever! I just can't wait to meet her! My doctor said they will let me go a week to a week and half past my due date.. we'll see what happens! I HOPE I don't have to wait that long, but, you NEVER know!

Long Weekend :)

I was lucky enough to get coverage for half of my work week this week. I only had to work 2 & 1/2 days :)
We've started on her nursery. It looks really good so far. We can't paint, so I'm trying to figure out how to put color in there.. It's coming together slowly but it is going to look really nice when we're done!
I started her laundry this past weekend! I did all of the things that could be washed together, now I'm still working on things that say "wash seperatly" It's crazy how fast time has gone by, she'll be here in a little more than a month :)

Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Mothers Day and Mothers To Be Day to everyone!
I love my mother Shirley and my grandma's Ruth and Dena! Also, of course my mother-in-law Pam and my sister-in-law Kimberly! They are all wonderful mothers and I'm thankful to have them all in my life! Ray surprised me this morning by letting me sleep in and cooking me breakfast! It was really sweet and a great first mothers day, even though our baby girl isn't even here yet :)

2 months to go!

I am only 2 months away from my due date and we still have SO MUCH to do around the house. We haven't even started in her nursery yet. I'm starting to stress out about it (a little.) I need to start trying to take the time to clean out the back bedroom to get it ready for her. We have a lot of stuff for her, but still have so much we need to get. It's hard trying to plan it all out.. I also am a little dissapointed we more than likely won't be painting in her room due to living in Military housing and we'd either have to pay someone to paint it back white, or we'd have to paint it white before we move.
Exciting news: One of my best friends from Michigan had her baby this morning! her due date was yesterday and she and I were texting back and forth all day yesterday and she was pretty sure it was about time and sure enough at 5:02 am (not even an hour at the hospital) she had a beautiful baby girl named Zoey Renee.. I am soo proud of her and happy for her!

Tired Out...

I'm still working full time and I will be 30 weeks pregnant on Sunday.. Work isn't getting any easier, that's for sure. I am always so tired now at work, My feet hurt, I am BURNING UP from how hot it is at work, I am basically somewhat miserable. I've been leaving a little early from work on some days and it helps. It hurts to stand all day now, I can do it, but I have super sore and tired legs/feet after. I seriously can't wait to start my maternity leave (sorry co-workers), hehe...
So we took the dogs to the beach this last weekend, they seriously love it.. we go to a dog beach, where everyone just lets their dogs run wild, and it's a lot of fun to walk around in the sun and put your feet in the water, and let the dogs swim a little bit, and chase around other dogs of course.
On Sunday we went to our friends house for lunch and had some hamburgers/hot dogs on the grill, and we sat around outside while the dogs/kids played.. Pancakes somehow got some kind of allergies when we were there and started having sneeze attacks. It was super scary for me because none of the dogs have done that before and he would sneeze like 10 times in a row and have drool and stuff all over his feet.. I wanted to take him to the vet the next day but I had to open at work, so finally Wednesday I took him to the vet, and since he's such a scaredy cat/mommas boy he was "frozen stiff" on the vet table and even let out a little poop (hehe oops!) the vet gave him some numbing drops in his nose and they usually have to put dogs out to check in their nose (he stuck a scope over an inch deep) and he was in his nose for atleast 5 minutes peeking everywhere and getting out any mucus he saw.. he didn't see any weeds stuck in there, (worried about a weed called foxtail which gets stuck and won't come out without surgery).. I was soo proud of Pan.. not only did he save us a couple hundred bucks by being so calm, but he was just a GOOD BOY during the whole visit and I am one happy momma! We are giving him benadryl and some nose drops for a week to see how he does, so far no sneezing since Tuesday :)

Reality

We got back to California okay.. we took a 4 day trip to get home rather than the longer driving/day 3 day trip. The weather on the way back was really crappy! Lots of STRONG wind and snow (in Arizona!) It was really weird. The dogs got to play in some deep snow for a morning, which was funny. They did so good on the trip, I am proud of them. Ray did MOST of the driving on the way home, I know it must have been really hard and I am really thankful that he drove that much, I don't like driving in crappy weather in places i'm not used to.

Our baby shower (on April 2nd) went GREAT! Sooo many people showed up, we had lots of good food and desserts! We got lots of great stuff for our baby girl! Most of all, I was just HAPPY to see a lot of our family/friends. We haven't seen some of them since our wedding!

I got to hang out one day with one of my good friends, Kelly, and her dachshund Pebbles. She's such a sweet girl, and her doggy is suuper cute and Toast and her get along really well! I was glad we could re-unite our doggies too! We haven't seen eachother since like December 09. We had dinner at Paliani's Restaurant and got an Ice Cream Potato! OMG-SO GOOD.
We had a good 3rd Wedding Anniversary. Didn't do too much, but that's okay! We were busy spending time with our family most of the time. One our anniversary we went out to lunch with his Mom and step-dad and went to see a movie. Then we just went back to my parents house and relaxed for the night.

We've shopped some for the baby since we got home! It's SO much fun to shop for her. I am so excited to get her nursery started. We're in the middle of cleaning out the back bedroom. I also want to get an air purifier to help clean up the air in the house, and maybe rid some of the dog hair, etc.. We still have LOTS to do.. and i'm at 29 weeks 2 days! (Time is FLYING)

Michigan

We made it to Michigan Sunday night.. We had a really good drive across the country! The dogs did SOO GOOD! I'm really proud of them. I love being here, not having to work, and being able to relax with my family/friends. We've ate at some good places I don't get to enjoy on the West Coast.. so far such as: White Castle, Halo Burger, Luckys Steakhouse, & Paliani's. I still am craving some more good food though, Hopefully soon! Our baby shower is tomorrow! It doesn't seem like it's real that it's FINALLY here and we're about to celebrate this next step in our lives with a ton of our family/friends. I'm going to be kind of glad when it's over though, It's kind of stressful planning a party and making sure you have all the decor and enough food for everyone.. A lot of people are helping us plan it though, which is nice! I went shopping with my mom yesterday and found a dress for the party, however I am going to wear jeans with it.. It kind of sucks, but I think it'll look nice! There's still snow on the ground here and I want to be comfortable. I look forward to getting things for our baby girl, but I'm most excited to see everyone! Our wedding anniversary is next Wednesday.. 3 YEARS! It doesn't seem like it's been that long.. It's crazy how time flies and how much things change since then.. I just look forward to going out for a nice dinner with my husband and relaxing a bit before we drive back to the "real world" and go back to work.
