Zombie Walk is in T MINUS 2 days :) COMPLETELY STOKED for this event. It's going to take me all day Saturday to get my makeup and special effects done. I have some of the coolest ideas for my outfit. I can't wait until it's complete and I can post pictures of it! It's going to be pretty messy though with all of the fake blood. It's going to get on my seatbelt, seat, etc.. so I'm gonna have to pick out a towel to lay down and try and find a way NOT to get the blood on my seatbelt this year cause that happened after halloween last year and I ruined a cute shirt from Forever 21 :/
Waiting to hear something from my husband tonight, not sure if I am going to. He's been busy the last couple of days. Deployments are never fun, I get lonely no matter if I have the dogs here or not, it just isn't the same without my husband around. I miss laying in bed with him at night and watching him play videogames. I miss his cooking, and just his company in general. His laugh, his jokes, his smile. The only things I love about deployments, he brings me home souveniors from all these cool places from around the world and I get to see wonderful pictures/videos. But the best part is IT BRINGS US CLOSER TOGETHER everytime. We realize what we have and don't take eachother for granted like we may on a normal day to day basis. I mean, our relationship from the start was long distance, I lived in Michigan and he was already in California. Not until after we got married did I see him for more than a couple of weeks at a time, a few times a year. Every email, every phone call, anything from him makes me smile. It's amazing to feel this loved and to be in this type of amazing relationship. I love having my husband as my best friend and having such a good bond with him. He can cheer me up from my bad days at work. He can always turn my tears into a smile. Our love for eachother grows daily and I can't wait to see what's to come in our future and our new house.
Speaking of new house, I really need to start packing, I move August 2nd. This will be the 2nd time in a row i've had to pack without Raymond around, which isn't fun. But this will be the first time i've done a move on my own, my parents will be giving me some help but it still isn't going to be the same without Ray here, like, can I hook up the computer, internet, tv and cable all right? Where will I put everything? I need him there with me to help decide these things, so a lot of "decorating" will have to wait until he's home but until then I can put the basics away like kitchen stuff, bathroom stuff, bedroom stuff...
le sigh.
